Troubleshooting VMWare Logins
A few tips about troubleshooting VMWare Logins
Find out which part of the login (see below list) the users are getting an error at.
Step 1.) Server connection - viewtest.st-claire.org
Verify that the server address is correct. Make sure not to put http:// in the address. Verify the users internet connection (have them use a browser to a web address)
Step 2.) User Authentication - username/password
This is generally a bad password or username. It can also be due to the user must change password at next login box in the AD account.
Step 3.) Duo Authentication - Do they receive the prompt or not, does Duo Admin show any errors.
If users are receiving the prompt check DUO Admin Portal for information on what may be going wrong there.
Step 4.) Pool Selection - staff11, vendor, provider
The typical error here is that they either do not see a pool or that they cannot get access. Both can be resolved by getting them added to the appropriate AD group.
Step 5.) Loading the Virtual Machine
Contact DCOps team, this is most likely a provisioning issue.
